Is Your Business Ready For Life After Lockdown?
Do you need help preparing your business for reopening on the 15th June?
We’re preparing kits that will enable businesses to comply with social distancing rules and safeguard their employees, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
We can prepare bespoke products complete with your business branding or standard issue kits. All are quick and easy to install. You can take a look at our brochure here.
These are the areas where we can help.
Site Safety Signs
We have site safety signs that can be displayed in high traffic areas to outline the safety requirements for your staff and visitors to your business. This is available both in a small size – 596mm x 490mm – and large – 2000mm x 3000mm.
Custom made acrylic screen shields will provide protection in areas where you have interactions with direct facing customers. Screens can be cut to your specification to suit the size of your desk or counter. We can also cut safe sections out as you require in order to accept payment or to facilitate other interactions with customers.
Floor and wall graphics are available in two sizes to promote contactless payment and safe distancing messaging. Social distancing markers are also available so staff and customers can avoid personal contact and adopt best working practices during these difficult times. We have large display boards and banners suitable for both internal and external use.
One Way Systems
To avoid queues at entrances and exits and other high traffic areas we have prepared directional arrow signs and distancing markers in two sizes and retractable barrier systems.
Floor and wall graphics and small safety labels are available to remind people about hand washing, safe disposal of tissues and how to sneeze and cough in a way that protects others. We can also create floor and wall graphics with bespoke messages for your business.
Maps for Employees and Visitors
Even small businesses may need maps to help people work out new exits, entrances, and one way systems to guide people around your premises safely.
If you run a shop or other retail business, the government guidelines for reopening are available here
Security for Your Business Premises
According to government guidelines you need to work out how many people can reasonably be accommodated inside your business premises while conforming to social distancing rules. The easiest way for many businesses to keep control of the number of people going into their premises is through access control and door entry systems.
CCTV also allows you to keep an eye on your whole premises – even vulnerable areas – and helps both your staff and customers to feel safe.
If you have security systems that need updating or you need advice about installing new ones, our friends at Security Masters offer free no-obligation security audits. You can read more about how they are working to help businesses reopen safely here.
Update Your IT Systems
If your business has been closed and your computers unused for a while, it’s essential that you make sure all apps and operating systems are up to date before you start work again. It’s particularly important that you check your anti-virus software, or you could be vulnerable to cyber-attack.
If you need help maintaining the security of your systems or moving hardware to accommodate the 2 metre rule, our friends at Transpeed Ltd can help you. Find out more here.
